Celebrated annually on March 8th, International Women's Day, is one of the most historic days of the year, to celebrate women's feats. International Women's Day is not nation, group, nor organisation specific. It belongs to all groups jointly, far and wide.

The colors of International Women's Day are purple, green and white. Purple denotes justice and dignity. Green represents hope. White symbolises purity. The colors were derived from the Women's Social and Political Union (WSPU) in the UK in 1908.
